We are 8 miles from the coast, and 2 miles from the village of Chatton, which has a village shop, Post Office and village pub. Homildon House sleeps 7.

The cottage is let on a weekly basis (Saturday to Saturday). Short breaks are available in low season

We are continually improving the facilities available, and welcome any comments you may have.

The local area has plenty for everyone, enabling you to choose between peace and quiet in the seclusion of the walled garden, or exciting days out exploring the local area. The coastline provides a mixture of rock pools and beautiful sandy beaches. And they are often deserted.

This is Spylaw from the hill.

We have lots of castles to explore, and market towns to visit.
Holy Island (Lindisfarne) is a few miles away, accessed by a causeway, and St Cuthbert's Cave is very close to Spylaw.

The area is a paradise for walkers too. We are half a mile from the St Cuthbert's Way, which runs the 62 miles (100km) from Melrose to Lindisfarne. We are close to the Pennine Way, and are in the foothills to the Cheviots.
