Fun Flower Arranging Workshops at Spylaw.

Thursday July 15th 09.30 - 12.45 Booking Now

Thursday August 5th 09.30 - 12.45 Booking Now

These fun flower arranging workshops will be led by our local expert, Jane Butler.

Jane is an experienced flower arranger, trained in commercial floristry, creating fantastic arrangements for any occasion, be it church, weddings, country fetes or private dinner parties.

Today Jane’s style reflects the local countryside in Northumberland, using greenery and flowers sourced from her large garden and, where possible, local suppliers.  Jane ties beautiful bouquets and using old fashioned and unusual flowers from the garden or hedgerow, creates unique arrangements.

Why not join us for a morning workshop. All materials, containers, greenery and flowers will be provided, are included in the price and you can take your arrangements home with you.  We only ask you to come with your own scissors and secateurs. The price is £55 and includes all refreshments.

For more details, and a booking form please e mail – Lorna@spylaw.org.uk

Art Workshop - Landscapes of the Soul

Tuesday 21st to Saturday 25th - Booking now

The walking and painting holiday accommodates up to eight delegates  and is both studio and outdoor based.  The workshop will be taken by Jenny Blayney.  Jenny studied Art Therapy in Gloucestershire for four years, using rhythms of nature and seasons, art through the ages, and myths and legends of the world, to evolve self development programmes. From carved stones of Ancient Civilisation to the cave of St Cuthbert; from the ancient wild, white cattle of Chillingham to the sea, sky and birds of Holy Island, you will walk the land and coast painting and modelling the experiences in the studio in a peaceful and tranquil environment.
