Nestled between the Cheviots and the fantastic Heritage coast, the farm has been sympathetically converted from an 18th Century homestead, to offer you superior holiday accommodation or bed, breakfast and suppers for your "time out". The woods and fields which surround us provide the ideal opportunity to relax and enjoy peace and tranquillity of the Farm and local area.
Surrounded by glorious countryside and sweeping hills, the converted shepherd’s cottage and byres on the working farm, offer beautiful accommodation in two stone cottages, making it an ideal base for families and couples wishing to explore Northumberland. There are lots of activities available locally, including walking, cycling, climbing, golfing, fishing, horse riding.
We are close to the village of Chatton with its pub, shop/PO, trout fishery and Gallery some two miles away. We strive for self-sufficiency, and breed our own sheep. We have very free range hens, geese, ducks and turkeys, and have a substantial market garden offering fresh seasonal goodies throughout the year. Eggs, freshly baked bread, cakes, home- made preserves and meals are always available on request, to help you really enjoy your well earned rest with us.

In the heart of Northumberland’s rolling countryside, we are within four miles of a designated AONB and some eight miles from the Northumberland National Park. The magnificent beaches of Bamburgh and Ross and the Heritage Coastline with its imposing castles, are within some fifteen minutes drive. Ideally located for you to explore the rolling Northumbrian countryside, historic hill forts and battle sites, the farm stands alone with fantastic views to Chillingham, Old Bewick and the Kyloe Hills.
Being close to the Farne islands, Lindisfarne and Budle Bay there is plenty of opportunity for bird watching visits throughout the year, where you can sit and enjoy our local species including Curlews, Lapwings, Field Fare, Tawny and Barn Owls and Buzzards, to name but a few. We offer bird watching days too, so please ask for more details.
Our enthusiasm for the area, locally sourced and home produced food, our beautiful home and gardens, are completely infectious and we are always happy to share our local knowledge with you.
